Most of our IT team came out of the information systems department at Kuozui Motors. They have run projects on live production floors, they were shaped by the TPS way of thinking, and they hold to continuous improvement as a matter of course. As shop-floor management at Kuozui kept advancing through TPS, the systems behind it were improved and adjusted in step.

We plan and build with that same improvement mindset at the centre. Working closely with our consultants, we get to the bottom of what the floor actually needs, help clients see their true situation, identify the points that matter and make the potential benefit explicit. Because our thinking starts from the TPS pull system, our solutions differ from conventional push-based production (a typical ERP, for instance). We are good at adapting to different production environments through system integration and semi-custom development that matches what the floor really does — backed by long experience with production management systems, so that every solution genuinely serves management rather than the other way round.

At the heart of TPS is the willingness to challenge and to keep improving. So, like our consulting team, we keep trying new things — while respecting the fact that a production floor has to stay stable, which means innovating on mature, proven products. We work with Kuozui's partner suppliers to advance IoT, and with leading industry partners on AI visual inspection and process automation. Our own team has full AI implementation planning capability, holds the relevant AI certifications, and was awarded a government SBIR innovation research project in 2025.

We also work with a team from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, using lean methods to analyse the whole flow from order intake to shipment, understand what really happens in the plant, and from there identify the specific points where AI can improve things. We are firm about striking the right balance between benefit and cost, tying lean management and AI application tightly together so that improvements are not merely forward-looking but actually take root on the floor.
