Thirty-two years at Kuozui Motors (Toyota Taiwan), heading the material control, vehicle production control, production planning and environmental facilities departments; thoroughly familiar with Toyota's production management system and the Japanese approach to running a company.

1. Implementing and applying the Toyota Production System

Toyota production management methods, raw material ordering and delivery control, vehicle production planning, production–sales coordination, operating production control systems and driving shop-floor improvement; he also translates and applies Japanese technical material.

2. Diagnosing and improving plant production management

Grasping the real situation at the genba, analysing problems in production control, material supply, scheduling and shop-floor operations, then proposing improvements and helping companies carry them through.

3. Plant environmental management, energy saving and carbon reduction

Environmental facilities management, energy use management, CO₂ reduction and the improvement activities that support them.

His emphasis is on understanding problems from the actual state of the floor, combining practical production management with TPS improvement methods to raise productivity, cut waste and strengthen management capability.

Thirty-two years at Kuozui Motors (Toyota Taiwan), joining in 1989 and retiring in 2021.

He served as engineer and then section manager in material control and vehicle production control, as deputy manager for vehicle production planning and scheduling, as manager of material control and vehicle production control, and as manager of environmental facilities.

Over those years he took part in Toyota's vehicle production planning, material supply management and plant improvement activities, and knows Toyota production management from the management system down to practice on the floor.
