Forty years on the floor in automotive sheet metal and stamping, with a long record of leading structural production reform.

The control points of stamping — cycle time, changeover time, equipment availability, quality and inventory — were his direct responsibility for years. From 2006 he drove transport automation, introducing AGVs that removed forklifts from the production line entirely.

From 2009 he introduced karakuri (low-cost mechanism) devices to eliminate heavy-strain work and cut handling hours; in 2018 his team won both the Excellence Award and the IDEA Award at the karakuri competition in Japan.

Toyota / 國瑞體系經驗

27 years at Shun-Shiang, the Taiwanese subsidiary of Toyota Auto Body, retiring as an Assistant Vice President in 2024; previously 15 years at Chun Yuan Steel's foundry.

When Toyota Auto Body and Chun Yuan founded Shun-Shiang in 1987 he was appointed section manager for sheet metal production and trained at Toyota Auto Body in Japan. He went on to head manufacturing (stamping, sheet metal, maintenance), then senior manager (manufacturing, tooling, special vehicles) and Assistant Vice President.

He served as TPS promotion leader and top for 23 years, worked with Japanese TPS experts on a full production-structure overhaul from 2004 to 2007, and in 2017 served as an officer at the first overseas host company of the Toyota Jishuken (TPS) study group.
