What we did
Working with the Corporate Synergy Development Center, JINGJIN TPS supported Merida on a major production line improvement project this year, using lean methods to restructure the flow, raise throughput and make the floor visible. Senior management and the trade press both recognised the results: line stability and overall performance improved markedly. On the strength of it, Merida has decided to extend the same improvement model to more plants and more lines next year.
Results
JINGJIN TPS will continue to apply its lean consulting capability to help Taiwanese manufacturers build an efficient operation that can be repeated and sustained.
